Website Terms of Use
Effective date: September 26, 2026
About these terms
These terms cover your use of www.geekytek.com and any Geekytek tool that uses YouTube API Services. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Work we do for you, like a repair, a network install, or ongoing IT support, is covered by the quote or service agreement for that job, not by these terms. Our text-messaging program has its own SMS & Text Messaging Terms.
Using this site
Use the site for lawful purposes. Please don’t try to break into it, overload it, harvest our contact details, or use our contact form to send spam.
Our content
The text, photos, logo, and guides on this site belong to Geekytek. You’re welcome to share links or quote a sentence or two with credit. Please ask before copying whole pages.
About the advice on this site
Our guides and FAQs are general information to help you make decisions. Every home and business is set up a little differently, so they aren’t a substitute for someone looking at your actual equipment. If you want advice for your situation, give us a call.
YouTube
Some of our tools use YouTube API Services. By using any Geekytek tool that uses YouTube API Services, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains what those tools access and store, and how to have that data deleted. Google’s own handling of your information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
Links to other sites
We link to other sites, like YouTube and Google, when it’s useful. We don’t control those sites, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them.
No guarantees
We work to keep this site accurate and running, but we provide it “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Geekytek isn’t liable for losses that come from using this website. This doesn’t limit anything we owe you under a service agreement, or any right you have that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
Questions
Call us during business hours or use the contact form on our Contact page. We’re happy to explain anything here in plain English.
